' The ships were small., and dark gray and moved at high rates of speed (destroyers?). On 20 August one of these ships sank during one of the frequent maneuvers outside the harbor. The positions-of the ships as of 14 August are shown 2. There are no more than 1,000 Soviet naval personnel in Port Arthur. (See paragraph 4.) 3. Source for paragraphs 3-4; Chinese, graduate of.
