On 5 April an armored corps was on its way to southern Thuringia via
Gera, 05schwitz, Weimar, and Erfurt.

One train hauled 14 tanks believed to be JS-34s.
A unit witn to Jbm-Ve and b trucks was seen on the Autobahn, moving in
the direction of Weimar.
