an official:Soviet office with its own statutes. It is supervieed by the
Tientsin Sayiet Consulate and the Tienbsia Brunch of Torgpredsteo. As
stated in tile statutes, its function ia to obtain and repert to the
Tientsin Sort Consulate and Torgpredetvo statistical iaformation on
commerce an OCOADMIQS. It maintains oontaot with other foreign chambers
of commerce andwith the Soviet Citizeas Trade Assooiatiea in Shaaghei.
As of April 1948* one hundred and forty-five firms owned hy Soviet nationals
