A new synthetic gasoline factory, covering an area of 2 square kM, and situates,
4 krm NE of Pinsk, was under construction in the sir-rmpr of ?1946. Three
workshops, 100 meters long and 30-40 meters wide, had been completed and
smelting machinery was installed in one of then. One workshop was desis*ned
and fitted out as a distilling plant. Machinery from the 1 egqdebreck, CTermany?,
synthetic gasoline plant, which was dismantled in 1945-1946, was zt-torod near
the factory. The factory was nearly completed in ;1ovember 1946, but pro(dnc-

employees. Tanks produced were "Stalin" and T-35. Daily production
was estimated at 2 or 3 tank-chassis exclusive of arrian^nt and super-
structure. Engines were not made in the factory but cane ry rail from
