1, M. A. Borodita, a former industrialist in Harbin, has received orders through the
Shanghai Soviet Consulate to be prepared to depart for Manchuria around the and
of )UW or early June 1948. He rill .proceed to Moscow via Vladivostok for a
short visit in order to receive inttructlona. He will be employed In the
Mast Manchuria Railway AAministration and will wear a special uniform.
2 Among the Soviet citizens In Ski who are also going to Manchuria are the
followrin : Porodin's. brothers 'a chsr tca1 engineer; I. I. Druri, Torgpredst xo
employee; Rudakov, an engineer tiho to chairman of the Executive Committee of the
Shanghai Soviet Citazen3 Association. These people will probably be sent to
Chabarivok (sic) (? Xhabarovsk?) to attend special courses before proceeding to
Manchuria.
3. A number of Soviet citizsns of Tientsin and Tstngtao who were formerly Russian
emigres in f churiaa are now registered for service in Manchuria. All Soviet
citizens in China who have assignments in Manchuria are expected to an ;,ment the
3SS$'aa Manchurian railway staff which at present is at skeleton stren h.
