the Hungarian Government suspended all deliveries of re- 50X1-HUM
parations to the Yugoslav Government during June 19489 In view of the present
political situation in Yugoslavia, they are unlikely to be resumed at present.
Same time in May 1948, a Yugoslav delegation arrived in Budapest to discuss
certain technical matters in oonnection with reparations9 After two days0
it was found impossible to conclude this business. When the Yugoslavs re-
quested from their government an extension of time, they were peremptorily
ordered to return'to Yugoslavia. As a result. it has not been possible to
settle the question under discussion with the Hangarianso
