la It is reported that the leaders of the t'oviniento Hacionalista Revolucionario
(tflR) are discussing neans of retaliation against the Bolivian Gover nt for
its having perriitted police agents to break up violently the second Anniversary
Nass,connemoratinr the death of Villarroel,on 23 Jul'r 191. Cell leaders are
reported! to.have net to plan a course of action.
2. !NR Deputy Raul Lam. Pelaez, in an interview with the tftirister of C3vernment,
protested bitterly against the brutal action of the police, and requested that
the Goverment inrredittely print an article in favor of the MNR. The Government,
however, denies any 'nowleelge of the agents' actions, and will. not recognize
the request of the I' R deputy.
