` China National Air Corporation (CNAC) has a contract with the Governsnt
of Burma for eight planes,, four C-46's and four C-17's,, to move tr'.ops and
equip nrt from Mandalay to Rangoon. The C-446's will return to Shanghai at
the end of August 1948. The C-47's will remain in Rangoon pending clarifica-
tion of CRC's status in Burma. The planes were dispatched to Burma from
Shanghai about 16 August 19480
