REPORT NO.
1. Sig. Pietro Vassena of Lecco, Italy, inventor and patent holder of the
pocket submarine C-3, during a recent test at-Lake Como reached a record
depth of 1410 meters. The submarine is adaptable to war use as well as
for deep-sea salvage operations. It is envisaged that Vassenaa will
initiate limited production of the submarine.
2. Vassena also has plans for experiment and construction of pocket submarines
capable of launching one or more torpedoes. VassenaRs representative is
Colonel Gori Savellini. His lawyer is Avv. Alfredo Moruzzi, Via Colonetta
