THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION FOR THE RESEARCH
USE OF TRAINED INTELLIGENCE ANALYSTS
1. The 2/2 Sub-Sector (of the border guard) moved from Eljovo to aov.
the spring of this year. To house this unit a barracks, 40 by 28 meters,
2. The guard-posts of this Sub-Sector have been abandoned., and their
complements have been drawn back into the interior and are collected
at the villages of Motsiure (sic) and Polyana. About 50 men have been
concentrated in these villages. Mobile patrols, however., are maintained
in the border zone.
3. The commander of the Sub-Sector is a captain. At his headquarters there
is another officer, or perhaps a sergeant-major, named Yordan Stoyanov.
4. The weapons of the Sub-Sector consist of German machine guns MAG,
sub-machine guns, and rifles.
5. The 11th guard-post of the 3/2 Sub-Sector has been abandoned. At the
12th guard-post there is a strength of 30-40 men.
