Automobile Parts Factory,- 27 March
Located at Sumadijska ulica 12, factory was used by the Germans
during the war to turn out airplane parts. Currently producing
a,, tons; piston rings and lubricating nipples (production

The trucks are of a three-ton type, equipped with a :"o l-1-speed
transmission. Maximum speed on a level road,, with fu:l.l, load, is 60
kilometers an hour. Because of faulty construction of the

Yugoslav Combinat for Rubber and Footwear
Situated at this coixaunity near Vukovar, 'actory manufactures
tires for small passenger vehicles. Tires are of poor quality
mnd show little resistance to wear. Production firures unavailable.
4. Keraaidnica
Construction of a huge auto tire factory at this site two
kilometers distant from Skoflje co:araenced in early 1948.
Machinery was i_,ported fro:a the Russian Zone of Germany. Skilled
personnel were transferred froja .Borovo to man the machinery. The
manager is an unidentified Czech engineer.. His de;uty is Periklije
Dii itrijevski. As of Auf;-ust, 1948 production had started. Details
are unavailable.
5. Gojilovo
Situated near I3anova Jaruga, fields 1 and 2 of this site yield
together a;.proxi.aately 3,000 tons of crude oil a year. Fresh
drillings are under way.
