1. The Chinese Communists maint4n radio stations in South China not only for
military and administrative purposes, but also to facilitate the business
transactions of certain Chin:ise Cawiunist-controlled business enterprises.
Among the latter organizatiol is are the Ta Chung Hang (& %~ ~) the
Tai Using Jiang (fk I 411 ), and the Hui Chien Hang
( At 11 ),,'all of
which are in Huiyanghsien (11L.-26, 23-05). The profits from these firms
are reported to be used for pElitical and military purposes.
2. These radio stations include powerful transmitters of Japanese or American
manufacture. They are generally situated in the mountains at same distance
from the villages.
3. Some Chinese Communist radio stations in South China are located as follows:
Tapu (116-42, 24-29)s, in tht Tungkufeng area ( ] )
Chaoan (116-37, 23-42), in the Nanshan (Lountains)( - )
Huiyang (114-26, 23-05), in the Pingshan (Yountains)( - ) 25X1A
Lungmen (114-04, 23-46), in the Tiehkang area (~gNanhsiung, (114-17, 25-13)x in the Yungho aroa ( , a )(
which reports the Yungho area :station with a transmitter sufficiently povwer-
ful,to reach Moscow. )
