1. Luis Cabal, an official in the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Relations, has
:,laced in his nriv-.te file an official dispatch from the Colombian Consulate
at 3'arseilles, Franco, in an effort to proclude the nossibility that the
recora -ended action be taken. The comiunication called at'-,ention to the t'aet
that the Venezuelan Smnipration agency in Paris was {riving preference to
Communists and extreme leftists in the selection of eniprants for Venezuela,
and suggested that the Colombian Government exercise greater vigilance at its
Venezuelan border to prevent such undesirables from.crossing into Colonbia.
