(LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO. 1'A The Yugoslav Navy had at its disposal during September the following submarines : Four former Italian submarines, type "CB" One former Italian submarine, type "MVI Two former German submarines Five Soviet pocket submarines. ,2. The Soviet submarines arrived disassembled at Split in the early months of 1948 by rail. Assembly took place in the shipyard at Split. Those differ from types "CB" and "Cl!" in that their tonnage and speed are stated to be greater and that they have a crew of eight. 3. During parch and April 1948, material arrived "by rail from the 'Soviet Union for the assembly of six new rocket submarines. Part of the material was delivered at Sibonik, where assembly is nos taking place, and-part is in storage at Divulje near Split. 4. It is also reported that Soviet pocket submarines have their base at . i_bonik (Aradelena). A former Gorman submarine, model 44rwas obs(-rvod at Split.
