London. his final instructions regarding Egypt's attitude toward the

The King instructed the Anbassador not to suggest in his discussions
with the British Foreign Office that Egyptas support of the British in the
United Nations regarding Cyrenatca was conditioned on the conclusion of a
satisfactory agreement on the question of the British troops in the Canal
Zone,
