1. The Peron government plans to discover a new "plot" against the administra-
tion just prior to the elections in early December when representatives to
an assembly to amend the Constitution will be chosen. This new "plot" will
give the government a pretext to arrest leading figures in the opposition
political parties and will insure the government's desired Constitutional
reforms.
2. Members of the Socialist Party have sent a memorandum to two Buenos Aires
dailies, La Prensa and La Nacion exposing the government's projected
plan. These papers, however, ve not published anything on the matter
for fear of reprisals from the government.
