P??esident Peron has been forced t3 curtail Argentine economic expansion in
a t.her Latin American nations unti:I. Argentina can solve its internal econ-
omic problems. However, the Argentine government is continuing its p:ne-
t.ration in cultural and labor fields and is banking heavily on a "third
position" labor movement-. Argentina will continue to invite labor dele-
,,;:rtes from ?ther Latin American countries to Argentina in an effort to
convince labor groups in those co-;retries of the value of the doctrine of
?: f?erar?.smo" (social justice, poli';ical- and economic independence).
At a congress of the Confederacioa de F;mpleados de Comercio (Federation
o.'* Commercial .Employees) which w .s held recently in Buenos Aires? kresident
Tv iron held a two-hour private cc~ tference with delegates from Chile,
olombia, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, and Cuba at which time he extolled the
virtues of the Argentine labor novement. At a later meeting of the congress,
>)e following four delegates openly praised Peron and expressed their ad-
