1s An unconfirmed report indicates that Miguel Miranda, President of the
National Economic Council, and Orlando Maroglio, President of the Central
Bank, presented their resignations on 23 November 1948. Although the out-
come of this action is not known, Mrs. Peron will allegedly attempt to
dissuade them from resigning.
2. Two other sources have heard new rumors of the possible resignations of
both '",iranda and Maroglio.
