1. Although no official announcement has been made by the Argentine Goverment,
Orlando Maroglio will be removed from the presidency of the Central Bank in
Buenos Aires. Miguel Miranda, who reportedly submitted his resignation as
President of the National Economic Council, has emerged the winner in his
long feud with Maroglio (cf. Another government post may be
