In The order suspending the publication of Barricade the weekly organ of
the University of San Agustin at Oruro., was made at the instigation of
the Minister of Government, Alfredo Mollinedo. Mollinedo had received
reports that Barricade was obtaining and utilizing propaganda material
from the Sovis ssy in Mexico City. The Minister made inquiries of
the University Council., which issued orders suspending publication of
the paper.
This suspension caused National Deputies Hernan Quiroga and Felipe
Tniguez tfedrano, both of whom are members of the Partido Tzquierda
Favolucionario, to register protests with the Rector of the University.
