9 Comment. reported that R.M. Soeripno cams from Prague
Java accompanied by Moeso, his secretary. !beso used a false Indonesian
passport bearing the name Soeparto. Soeripno and M4oeso travelled by air from
Prague to Jogjakarta via the Hague, Paris, Cairo, New Delhi, Bangkok and
Boekit Ti n-gi )
Soeripno and Soeparto arrived in Rangoon from Calcutta .by Indian National
Airways on 8 July 1948. Their passport particulars were as follows:

2. On 19 July, both passengers left for Bangkok, but returned on 26 July,, having
apparently failed to secure an onward passage to Indonesia. ,On 30 July, they
left for Singora on an Eastern Airlines (Australian) plane. - his plane is to
be purchased by the Indonesian Government. While in Rangoon, they stayed with
Marjoenani, the Indonesian Representative. On their return from Bangkok to
Rangoon, they were accompanied by Sait Noor, an Indonesian official returning
from America. Sait Noor was still in i'angoon on 3 September.
3. The Dutch Consul (acting Consul Cenral), J.B. Haverkorn van Fijsewijk, when
consulted concerning 5oeripno and Soeparto, stater: thatMoeso was travelling
as Soeripno's secretary to 13oekit Tinggi via :3nngkok and t"ingora~
