These garriso are relieved at intervals ranging from fifteen to thirty due. They consist of 15 large three-story 0 50X1-HUM 50X1-HUM SWWAdn The Leninakaa airfield lion two to three kilometers south of the city. It is vest of the railroad which runs from Leniaakan,to Artik and east of the Leninak u-Tereven highway. The airfield is t esoidal In shaype$ with the short side to the north and the long side to the south. The short site is about three kilometers from the southern edge of Leninakan. The longer (south) side ie about two kilometers from a wall river which runs parallel to it. A person travelling from Leninakan to Artik W rail passes very close to the east side of the airfield. One travelling 17 road from Laninakcen to Yerevan passes very close to the vest s!de of this airfield. 4. The perimeter of the airfield is about 10 to 12 kilometers. The length of the south side of the airfield is about three to four kilometers, sad that of the other three sides is two to three kilometers each. During the day there is not much movement on the field, but about 30 military air- craft are permanently stationed there. At times this number is increased to about 80, including single-engine, two-engine, and four-engine planes. There are also two biplanes for training purposes at this field. Later, more aircraft were brought to the field.
