1. The Committee of Central and Eastern Europe,, an anti-Communist organi-
zation recently formed in Buenos Aires to represent individuals whose
countries are currently under Soviet domination (of. -), elected
the following officers at its most recent meetings
President - Miroslaw Arciszewski, former Minister to Buenos
Aires for the Polish Government-in-Exile
Vice Presidents - (fnu) Prhala, Czech, now in London
Dr. Vinco Zorc, Slovene
An unidentified Ukrainian
Secretary General - E. Eustachiewicz, Pole
It was agreed that a new president should be elected every three months.
20 Lr. Filip M. Dominikovic, former Yugoslav Charge d'Affaires in Buenos
Aires, has refused to lend his support to the Committee on the grounds
that he could not work with such men as Milan Stojadinovic, former
Yugoslav Prime Minister, who had collaborated so closely with the Germans
during World War II. Dominikovic claims that the Committee9s purpose is
to facilitate the immigration of Masi technicians and specialists to
Argentina, especially in those cases where American and British military
authorities in Germany and Austria will not issue travel' permits.
Comment; If such is the case, Branko Benson may be expected to
Play an important role in the Committee's activities in view of his close
connections with Argentine immigration authorities.)
3. The Committee itself states that its primary and principal goal is to in-
form tae world of the real meaning of Communism and how it operates in
each of the satellite countries. In this manner it hopes to intensify the
collaboration among these countries and their immigrants in their fight
against Communism.
