le The defected Czech Minister to Egppt, Fr antis* lucky, states that he
has received a letter from the ibrmer Czech Minister in Ottawa suggesting
that hip form a Free Czech circle in Cairo and urge all Czech nationals
to turn in their passports as a protest against the oomwnist regime in
Prague, Krucky hesitates to take such a step because he fears that it
would work a hardship on those Czechs who have property or close relatives
in Czechoalovekf.ac If such a free circle were formed, Czechs would be
faced with the dile?a of either keeping their passports and risking
Egyptian suspicion that they are Comamwrsts, or of joining the free group
and risking the danger of emprcpriation and reprisals by Prague,
