J'urthcrmoro it was reported that members of the Finnish Legation in E.oscotw
desiring to take vz:c tions in 'inland would not receive re-adnission vises.
For this reason Finnish authorities have suspended vacations of their
porsonnel.
4. The soviet garrison it iorkkala is reported to have been doubled, as has
the number of frontier guards in Karelia.
b. It has been noted that closer ties have recently been established between
the t?innish eoz ,unists and the oviet Legation in Helsinki. l,eetings between
i+"'innish Comr.mnist lenders and oviet diplomats often take place on the premises
of the ;:soviet corrercial mission (in the building of the former Latvian
