Reception building, one-story high; 15 x 20 m with tile roof; contains office of guard commander to whom everyone ertering the plant area must report. In addition to this office there' are two apartments for employees. 2. Offices of the Technical Section Heal and the chief engineer of the Technical Section. The building is one story high, of stone constructions 30 x 10 m with tile roof. It also contains the mechanical workshop, the saddlery, and the chief engineer's blueprint room; in the latter six men are employed. 3. Joiner's shop, one-story high, of stone construction, 30x10 ms with tile roof; with forty employees. 4. Storage department for saltpeter, salt, and other rateriala; one story high, of-stone construction, 40 x 10 m, with tile roof; has about ton employees. 5. Storage for sulphur; a new building one-story high, 30 x 10 in, with tile roof in charge o f' a Benkovie who lives in Ljubljana. 6, Power plant, one-story high, of concrete construction, 15 x 19 m, with roof of concrete and covered with sand. The turbines are laid in sp; ral form and are of the "Francis" type. Water is directed in through a covered underground channel leading from the dam (87 on map). Cheriieal laboratory, one-story, stone construction with the roof,, with three employees. Chief of the laboratory is one Platkovski, a Russian emi?re, 60 years of ago. He is supervised by the Chief of the Gunpowder Section. 15. Charcoal-burning department, one-story, stone constructions, 20 x 15 m, with two high chimneys. This building also contains stoves for processing of charcoal. Four men are employed here. 22. Charcoal, sulphur and saltpeter grinding and mixing section. The percentage of the mixture (ratio of combinations) for black powder is determined here. The building is one-story high 15 x 20 m, of concrete construction with tile roof. Six men are employed in this section. 24. Administration building, one-story high, of stone construction, 50 x 30 m, with tile roof; has a clock tower. Contains the offices and living quarters of the director, the Technical and Gunpowder Section Chiefs, and the bookkeeper; and the office of the paymaster. 24/1. Old stables; one-story high; 40 x 12 m. According to dormant this building has been converted into a warehouse since his departure. 32. Boiler house contains one boiler; a stone building, with a tin roof and a large square'ohimney, Six people are employed here. 32/1. Sorting Department for production of "Kamniktit" gunpowder; one-story stone construction, 40 x 16 m. Twelve people are employed here. 32/2. Building for filling sacks with "Kamniktit" gunpowder. The filling is done by machines. The building is 12 x 15 m, with a tin roof. Thirty people, chiefly women, are employed here. 32/3. Peraffining and packing department for "Kamniktit" gunpowder; one-story high of stone construction, 20 x 20 in, with tine roof. Fifty people, mostly women, are employed here. 34/1,34/2. Two mills for grinding and mixing of "Kamniktit", and simalteneous adding of explosive mixtures; one-story high, of stone construction, 15 x 20 in, with tin roof. Twenty people are employed here.. 43. Dining room with ditchen and wash room; of stone construction with tile roof. 41,42,47,48. Three buildings where the "Kamniktit" is mixed again and ground before going into the mills; one-story high, of stone construction, 15 x 12 in, with tin roof. Each building has three men employees. 51. Storage Department attached to building 52; one-story high, 12 x 10 in, . with a tin roof. Small materials are stored here. 52. Hydraulic press for pressing of gunpowder; of concrete construction, 25 x 15 m, with concrete roof. Eight, men are employed here. 62. Department for production of gunpowder grains; blown up by act of sabotage. 65. Sorting Department for gunpowder grains; one-story stone construction, 12 x 12 m, with a tin roof. Small storage department; $tone construction 4 x 4 m. 76. Horse and cattle stables. 85. Gatekeeper Prelesnik's office with quarters attached; stone building, 12 x 10 m. The gatekeeper is from Liaknik. 86. Two new wooden storehouses. 87. Dam on the stream with channel to power plant. Miscellaneous: The plant is surrounded by a barbed wire fence two meters high.
