A guide for Spanish Communist resistance in Spain, which according to
source was drawn up by Generals Enrique LIBTER, Juan MIODESTO and Francisco
Mf.TZ and introduced into resistance oiroles by Jesus MOUZCR and Gabriel
I.ECKT Trilla:, reportedly is being followed as close as possible by
Conz mitt resistance groups within Spain. Comment. Jesus 25X1A6a
MC~TZ(11, according to Uur do Obrero of 12 February , was expelled from
the Sp^.niah Communists for treasons) The following tasks are assigned
to the Spanish Communists residing inside Spain:
'"As soon as circumstances permit, upon receipt of the following
instructions by our Spanish Comnimista they will be strictly and
punctually observed. If this is not the case, then through our
nouroes the General Commissariat should be advised of the im-
possibility of fulfillment, and new instructions should be
awaited.
1n A detailed study of all vital points in the railroad system
with emphasis on bridges and tunnels. This study must include
the nature of the construction material? the height of the targets,
the observation posts of railroad police, and the length of all
bridges and tunnels together with the tonnage which they can carry?
This material should be typewritten on the finest onion skin paper
or copied as microscopically as possible by hand, and sent to the
Commissariat by the surest means of communication.
"2., The agents of complete confidence will indicate by setting
out initials the naves of people who can be trusted and who are
,,.ewers of launches, fishing craft, motor boats, and other small
craft along the Spanish aoasta.
"3,, A detailed report containing initials of people who are
proprietors of hunting goods stores or who own large amounts of
arms and ammunition, specifying in each case their locations by
city? street and number. Later. all those professional sports-
men who are members of our organization will be given the task of
compiling complete lists of the names of these people,
