Bernard Drzewieski and Wanda Drzewieeka, Polish diplomats, bearers of Passports No. 565 and 568 respectively, issued at Warsaw on 18 January 1946, arrived in Rome on 31 December 1948. They came from Damascus and took lodgings at Hotel de la Ville. On 13 December 1948 they left by air for Paris,. 3. Adam Ostrowski,. Polish Ambassador to Italy, who left for Warsaw on 11 December 1948, was expected to be absent for about thirty days. During his absence he was substituted for by the lot Secretary of the Fanbassy, F igeniusz Markowski. 4. On 17 December 1948 Lt, Timoteucs Takusieaicz, economist of the polish military mission in Rome, was transferred to Warsaw on a permanent change of station.
