L The section heads of the police force of the Province of Buenos Aires have
recently received a confidential circular ordering an investigation of sub-
versive elenents within social and athletic clubs. The circular requests
infozrtation on the following points:
a. Political ideology of the members of the directive owmittee and its
associates.
b. Influence of the club in labor unions. This influence may be either in
favor of or against the goverment.
c. Identification data on leaders who are menbera of political parties or
social entities opposed to the Coverm nt and who are distinguished for
their labor-anarchist, Socialist or Communist activities.
d. Names of labor, social, or political figyres,supported by the leaders
of the various social and athletic clubs.
