a meeting with a grow of capitalists which was scheduled to, take place on
25X1A2g 6 January The men behind the movement were Jacinto Pohl,
Roberto Ca saa an or Jose Alberto Fumes, Their purpose were to present
their view to Osorio that a Constituent Assembly should be convoked as soon
as possible.
2,Osorio became convinced upon making inquiries that the first thing he would
have to face at such a meeting would be a demand to free Col, Oamin Aguirre,
who has been in jail since the recent coup d'etat, Oeorio did not wish to
cope with the question and therefore decided not to attends Other persons
who were to have attended the.msting likewise became convinced that the
supporters of Aguirre were preparing a maneuver, and as a result the meeting
was postponed,
