Apart from about 30,000 tons per annum which are .;ant to Farbenfabrik Wolf en (E 14) all the nitrogen remains at Leona i;shere it is converted Into a^ronium sulphate. 2. The hyc ogenation plant at Leuna has a yearly capacity of 200,000 tons. It is now roaly to start production. Production was, however, still completely held up, because of a lack of hydrogen, at the end of Y3ovember 1949. 3. Dr. Dieters, until recently works manager in the hydrogenation plant at Teuna, has been transferred by the Soviets to the hydrogenation plant at Most (1`13) in Czechoslovakia in order to help the Czachoa akfan plant to resume full production as soon as possible. The plant had originally a total capacity of 1,000,000 tons per annum which was considerably reduced towards the and of the war through a bombing attack. At present, it is esti ated by Leuna specialists that the most plant is producing approximately 250,000 tons of aircraft fuel per annum.
