The 'Zorka" plant for the manufacture of chemical products is located
to the right of the Belgrade-Sabac highway, about two kilometers from
Sabae. It employs about 1,500 workers on three eight-hour shifts.
Apart from copper sulphates, it allegedly produces poison gas. The
factory is connected with the main railroad line, but also makes use of
the small nearby port on the Sava River. Raw materials for these plants
are supplied by the Bor mines.
An armored car factory is under construction on the outskirts of Brodica, a
Village in the neighborhood of Kucevo, about 30 kilometers southeast of Belgrade.
The existing railroad line from Belgrade to Kucevo will be extended as far as
Brodica to expedite communications with the new factory. About 10,000
workers will be employed-at the plants.
3. Four other factories are located in the vicinity of the Zmaj and Ikarus
plants, namely the Sutieska I, Sutieska II, Galenika and Ivan Milutinovic.

manufactures cotton goods and has 150 workers; the Galenika, (a factory
for chemical productshas recently been equipped for the manufacture of
penicillin. The Ivan Milutinovic, which before the war was known as the Vukoijcic
plants, employs about 600 workers for the manufacture of textiles for the
Yugoslav army. This factory was recently enlarged by the addition of a
/ three-store building.
