1. Conversations are allegedly aan1. among certain influential Bolivian
army officers concerning the pooeibili ty of attempting to take over the
goverment. Colonel Hugo Hallivia, Director of the Colegia Nilitar in
La Paz, and General Canoe Soria Galbarro, Inspector General or the Ary,
have been' involved in recent conversations of this nature. General Felipe
Riviera, Coanander or the Arced Forces, continues to be considered as a
eom.ormise candidate to bead a military Junta in the event of a coup dtotat.
