1. Two independent sources have furnished additional information tending t4 oon-
firm the close relations that tow appear to exist between the Union Revolueionaria
(UR) and Lt. Col. Alfonso Mose, Vinieter of Development and Publio Uorks in
Peru.
2. Lt. Col. Alejandro Maguire*, one of Mosey, alone personal advisors, has recently
conferred:with Senator Luis A. ,Flores, UR leader, and assured him of the great
degree of support that Llosa Ways among! milita;y elements in the eouth of the
country, particularly in the Casco area Where Isaguirre is nov stationed.
3. A recent 'visitor of Flores has been the UR leader in Cusco, a Dr. Guevara, whose
son serves as the personal courier between Llosa in .- and Isaguirre in Cuss?.
Dr. Guevara and his non %ere said to have been invited to Lima by Llosa to receive
further orders, the exact nature of *Ad& has not yet been reported. Dr. Guevara
also assured Flores that the entire south would support Llosa "incase of trouble*,
and stated that Genera/ Odria had few sympathisers in Cusoo or other sections in
the south,
