A new political party,oa as the Central Party, is being formed in
Hyderabad. Recruiting activity will be centered about the three districts
adJoVing I4a prov3.nc+. The primary airy of the Central -Part] will be
to combat the Communist elep'nts in Hyderabad province.
2. This party is being sponsored by the Confess Party of India,,. and its
activities will be secretly directed by !tr. Y.P. ?tenon, Political Adviser
to the States }' .nistry. `.tubers of the Central Party will not be aware
of Con?res3 Party sponsorshjp.
..uslims and Hindus will both be encouraged to join the Central Party,
but r>embers of the Con-ressParty are not to be approached for membership.,
since the Central Part;, will take on the color of a new political rnoverrnnt
and will stand, at least on the surface, in opposition to the Congress
Party. One of its rallying cries will be opposition to the Razakars.
It. The Central Party may pro?,-ide the medium for a fresh and effective attack
on the Corr_-x+miats, wt:ich the Con tress Party, being well infiltrated with
Communists itself in Hyderabad, is usable to make.
