The four members of the Greek Communist Party who made their
first rub-11.5_c anpeerance as visiting delegates to the SED Party
Conference on 26 January 1949, have since been in various cities
of the Russian Zone. They are known to have been in Leipzig,
Hrlle, "Dresden, V'eimar, Schwerin, Ludwigs$ust, Potsdarn., Gt9rlltz,,
Cottbus, and Riesa.
They were escorted by a FDGB delegation under Franz Dahiem, and
were accompanied on most of their trig by "'ills Zaisser, Minister
of the Interior in :?axony. They were seldom seen in nubile,
and speared only at small closed ?-rcurr, rhich invariably
formed themselves intc Committees for Aid to Greece,. The
DresidentF: of these conrlitteps were al kwways rrorosed by Franz
Dahlem, or by some accompanying functionary of the German
Administration of the Interior. These committees are to be
united under the section of the SED which is under Dahle::i,
celled the liaison with Foreign Countries Section. The inclus-
