The Dutch are attempting to induce Professor Baden Supomo, formerly head of the political subcommittee of the Indonesian Delegation, to participate in the political talks of the Special Federal Consultation Board. He is being referred to as one of the "prominent men" and also as "head of the Republican faction." Supomo is sceptical. 2. Raden Abdul Kadir ridjojoatmodjo will be a candidate for the mall Negara of Middle Java. His wife is now engaged in collecting goods for the needy in Jogjakarta and Solo. 3. Dr. Darmasetiawan is also among those whom the Dutch are trying to induce to participate in the political talks. If he accepts, he will join the "Republican faction of .Fro: esscr C pomo." 4. The Dutch are looking for someone who can be used as a representative of Sukarno. Darmasetiawan is commonly referred to as Hatta's representative.
