SUPPLEMENT TO
1. The supreme war organization which, in the event of war, will be called the
Ministry of war, is organized as follows:
Supreme Command of the Yugoslav Army (Ministry of War), which is sub-
divided into the following branches:
Head of the Government and Supreme Commander
High Defense Commission
High Command
Ministry of National Defense
General Staff
2. The High Defense Commission (Visa Ko:nisija za Odbranu) is subordinate
only to the Head of the Government and can be used by him solely with re-
gard to political, financial and industrial problems of the state.
It consists of the following military and political units,

Ministry of Industry

3. The High Command is subordinate to the Head of Government and the Supreme
Commander. It is the highest operational unit and is connected to the
Ministry of National Defense only in regard to supplies and logistics.

c. In the event of a war or mobilization, the General Staff of the Supreme

14. The Ministry of National Defense incorporates all three military branches.
Its duties involve keeping an accurate record of the mobilization and ad-
ministration of the army. In addition to this it exercises control over
and coordination of the military operations in each of the five federal
states. operational data, maneuvers and information are submitted to the
General Staff.
The Ministry of National Defense comprises the following:

The General Staff is the supreme technical group which studies and plans
problems concerned with national defense. Among its duties are the study
of all operational and mobilization plans, organization of military units
and carrying out of experiments.
a. The General Staff is composed of the following sections which pertain
to all military branches handled by the General-Staff officers:
Section for organization and mobilization
Operational section
Section for maneuvers
Information section
Statistics section (?)
Historical section
War industry section
Replacement section
b. The General Staff also embraces the following High Commands:
