Ferando Longarini, associated with the firm of Giovanni Crociati (Via Coroneo 1, Trieste), is selling Soviet scrap metal from Austria in Italy and Switzerland. Long;arini travels frequently between Trieste and Vienna where he maintains contact with Soviet officials (unidentified) for the sale of various metals. 25X1X6 2. He recem;ly showed an Austrian export license for 3,200 metric tons of iron billets. cenae number was 550146A issued to Franz Pelts, Vienna, a dummy agent or intermediary through whom Longarini is exporting. The billets are from the stocks of the Soviet CEM in Austria and sold at the rate of N55 U.S. (specified) per metric ton. 3. Count Fiero Radolin, residing at Locarno4Muralto. Switzerland, is currently conducting preliminary negotiations with Longarini through a Trieste inter- mediary for the purchase of an unspecified number of billets.
