On 8 March Belgian communist ivon.en, acting in the mile of the Group of omen
I. Pie-ce, organized an outing with a radio equipped ca-r. Tha purpose of
the outing, was to collect signatures for a statement protesting the use' of
the atom. boreb and favoring peace, which was to be forwarder: to the United
Nations. From the BCP point of view the outing was a failure because only
'300 signatures were obta .rood, Among those present were Martha Adam, Ames-,'.e
