Bupeno, Commandant of the armed forces of the Barisan Banteng Republik
Indonesia, was killed in action on 24 February 1949 at Duku Ganten, Liman area,
Regency of Ngandjuk, Residency of Madiun, Last Java.
As a minister, Supeno* was succeeded by Susanto Tirtoprodjo*. Supeno may be
succeeded as head of the Barisan Banteng Republik Indonesia by Imam utardjo.
