The present Pasundan cabinet is stronger than it was two weeks ago.. The only
opposition is from the Partai Kebangsaan Indonesia (PARKI, Indonesian
Nationalist Party) faction,
2. It is expected that the parliament working corrittee proposal that the Pas d
national flag be Republican. red and white with a green pennant at the top
will be approved next week.
3 ,There are rumors that the Dutch General Engles will break off negotiations
with Achmad Wiranata Kusuma of the Siliwangi Division.
4, The Pasundan officials and Siliwangi officers are cooperating closely in the
areas. outside of the cities. The'Pasundan officials find it difficult to
preserve order in the areas which are occupied by a large number of Dutch and
Indonesian troops.
5. The Communists in Pasundan are attempting to cooperate with the Indonesian
armed forces in order to form a "national front" against the Dutch,>
