North =erican 1wrierialisJmd? was d_? str7buted clandestinely in Paraguay during 1949 by the National Directorate of the Paraguayan Communist Party (CPT!),, It contained the following propaganda.: -`he CPP took credit for three consecutive defeats Inflicted against Yankee erialists. a) The defeat of the Yankee agent Natalicio Gonzales;, b) The defeat of General Faimund.o Rolon, presidential candidate of the Dutra ov rnment and of Yankee imper^..alis ; and r) The liberation of political r::I one rs The pamphlet - continued by stating that. the Paraguayan people could only have democracy and peace by fighting against Yankee :intervention in internal a.rf airs, by gaining respect for Paraguay's national sovereignty and by expelling all Yankee and Brazilian Lilitary aseions from Par:?agua 0 T-1 he pamphlet contained an attempt by the CPP to link revolutionary activities Paraguayan exiles in.
