The Dutch Charge dvAffaires at Bucharest recently noted a considerable
increase in requests made by the Rumanian Minister of Foreign Affairs for
diplomatic courier visas.
20 The Legations of France, Belgium and Great Britain at Bucharest have also
noted the increased requests for visas, The couriers usually travel in
pairs and pass through Switzerland and visit successively Paris, Brussels,
T! Hague. London then return along the same route*
34 The Legations believe that these couriers more than serve the Rumanian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and are employed as a contact link between
the various European centers for the Cominformv
