In the current British Argentine commercial negotiations, which may end
this week, the Argentines have demanded 1.92 pesos per kilogram of meat
while the British say they will pay a maximum of 1.32 pesos. The
British are prepared to leave Argentina without signing the agreement
if their top price is not accepted.
