1. In March 1949 Travail at Culture, a branch of the Communist front
organisation Tourism at Travail, set up a cultural and artistic section
in. Casablanca, which was further divided into European and Moslem groups.
2? The Moslem section is headed by Mohamed Alm. The secretary of the
group is a militant Communist named Dailly (tau). Working under Alamig,
assigned to recruiting new members area I'1sbib Hhallouk, Mohamed Molahfi,
and Ind. Bennis (Benin)? who have already been successful in finding
many new adherents. The leaders of this organization meet at the offices
of Tourism et Travail at 26 Boulevard de Lorraine every Saturday at 7 p.m.
The members of the Moslem section hold meetings at the headquarters of the
Confederation Generale du Travail (C.Q.?.) on week days fined in advance.
The gatherings are presided over by Missim Reboh, who is also secretary
of Tduriam et Travail.
Almas fiancee is an Italian dancer called CValeria? who come recently
to Morocco from a theatrical engagement in Now York. She is the
sister-in-law of F. Jauvat, the Communist director of Travail -st Culture.
She has succeeded in recruiting many Moslem. girls whom she is instructing
in the principals of Communism along with lessons in the dramatic arts,
