THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION 1, During the trade negotiations in April 19480 Hungary contracted with Yugoslavia for the following quantities of awes: 2800000 toe limonit-ore from Ljubija 500000 tons 1imonit?are from Vares 258000 tons limonit-ore from Uaidaupek 30c.000 tons siderit-ogre frm Ljubija 25.000 tons siderit a ore from Vares These quantities were to be deliverer by 31 December 1948 but an extension of the delivery-period to 31 March 1949 was estimated within the contract, The following compilation lists the actually delivered quantities and con- sumption in the corresponding periodst CLASSIFICATION CONTROL - U. The provision for 1949 (i.e. 1 April 1949 - 31 March 1950) was to contract a quantity of 400.000 tons. The consumption during this period was estimated with 343.000 tonss, or about thirtytwo percent of -,-,he total iron acre consumption of the Hungarian blast-furnaces. 4. In consequence of their relatively high 5102 contents they necoseitate a some- what higher coke consumption (1 ton ore a 0.50. 0.55 ton coke). 5. All prices given Are to be understood f.o.r. This means that the price of the ore fooar. (sic) at Ljubija can be assumed at 06.20.
