This project has been considered many times in the past but was never
adopted as the advantages were considered small compared to the technical
difficulties involved in the construction of the canal.
4. The commission is composed of Soviet and Rumanian technical experts,
f The chief Rumanian engineer is Burghele, a member of the Danube Commission.
It is reported that the commission is working in the Vlassopol house at
B neasa (Bucharest), formerly the residence of Archduchess Ileana.
6, As soon as the plans are completed and accepted, work will start on the
project. It is believed that forced :Tabor will be used.
