1. The inkrr plant, which formerly belonged to Ing. Jan Larasek, was incorporatesi
into tki-resia ;:orke in April 1949. This plant is located at Chotutice near

Lost of the production, especially electrical-measuring and testily equipment
goes to the 1.1:,,:oL. 3hipments are sent in freight cars from the Pecky railros
stetion to ,:oscou, Trdbishevova 169. During the first quarter of 1949, 5
demagnetizing apparatuses were shipped cut. Un 1 April 1949, shipments of
electromarnovip testinF installations and of industrial testing X-ray appavc
were begun. During the third quarter of 7949, an additional 5 demagnetizing
apparatuses and 25 X-ray units are to be shipped to the U,K.
4. Electromagnetic testing units, especially those used to check large machine 1_<
such as gun barrels and crankshafts, weigh up to 6 tons and are thus shipr,,
in parts weighing up to 600 kilos; they are shipped in yooden packinc cases
are supplied by the firm i.iroslav Javurek.* The following cases were provide(
by this firm in iiay 1949:

In February 1943, shotagas in the renewing items used especially in the menufa6ture of demagnetizing and X-ray apparatus caused a bottleneck in production,
a. ';:ooden veneers (. and 10 mm. think) and panels (20-25 mm, thick) used
in the manufacture of iashboards for demagnetizing apparatus.
b. Timber, 0.2 eu.m., used in demagnetizing units; 1.0cu.m, used in X-ray
apparatus.
e. Industrial gasolivf: for cleaning parts of X-ray units. (On 1 February 1949,
300 kilos of indmtrial gasoline were required.)
