About 'two hundred German workers are engaged in leveling the landing field and filling the bomb craters on the concrete runway. The work is nearing completion and only one- fourth of the concrete runway on the west is still to be re- pat-red. The target date for completion, i September 1949, can un(::oubtedly be met. . b. The repair hangar, hangars and all barracks buildings, except one, are destroyed. The intact barracks is occupied by a Soviet unit of about 150 men (no air force unit). c.
